My eyes ain't green and my hair ain't yellow, it's more like the other way around!

Ive been wanting partially green hair for a long time now, as a little shout out to my two favourite super villains. I initially did a strand test and it did not work at all but I think that was due to me mixing the bleach wrong with too much developer. Anyway, over the last few days I've been bleaching and dying my hair and here is the final result! I bleached my hair twice and then dyed it with Apple green directions, the result is lighter than I expected or perhaps wanted but as this is my first time using bleach and hair colour usually goes wayyyy too dark for me, I am very pleased with how it turned out. My hair is now pretty dry so I'm going to give it a lotta loooove with the deep conditioner and argony goodness and hopefully it will be back on tip top form very soon!

Beautifully Ironic

In the end you will always kneel

I've had my eye in this little beauty for a while, I just think it's very funny and after hearing Tom singing it in an interview, I feel as though, although I hate the original song, it is Tom approved, so it is fine! I also think that this skirt has a certain Loki flavour to it... Tasty.

Hebden bridge and watching the sunset

For my birthday, me and my best friend went to Hebden bridge, a beautiful, quirky town in Yorkshire. The shops are so different and have so many interesting things in them, I am getting increasingly into Norse mythology and in the marketplace there was a stall entirely dedicated to all things mythological! And that was before we got into the shops! I had an absolute field day! (More on my purchases later) we also went to our favourite pizza restaurant and then came home and watched the sun go down, it was truly  spectacular, especially the view on my walk home! All in all a beautiful day... I've almost got a tan D:

The sky looked beautiful tonight...

Sickly........ Sweet!

Hate public speaking. Well, who likes it?! Barrack Obama... And that's about it. We were assigned a group project on the 60's for uni and I felt sick for two days before it, absolutely dreading it...  But it is finally done!
Was a nice morning, here's a picture of me on the train on my way into uni and then a pic of the chocolate brownie I felt that I richly deserved!

A shadow plummeting into the abyss

An eerie shot- bringing the inside, out.

Thor has travelled to Midgard to wish me a happy birthday!

After a beautiful sunny day yesterday, I think Thor missed Earth. And today, in order to celebrate my birthday, he travelled over to join in the merriments! It was lovely to have him here!

When you'd rather spend the evening with fictional characters than real people...

My life lately has revolved around two things with which I am obsessed.
The first: Loki- the trickster god, Norse mythology and the character beautifully played by Tom Hiddleston
The second- Heath Ledger's Joker (more on that later)
Yes, I love a good villain.

Loki is a character that I just love, he is slick, good looking and wickedly intelligent (with a touch of madness)- a perfect combination. I am currently devouring anything I can find about Norse mythology- books, websites, documentaries, films, i am fascinated! I've always had a thing for the broken misfit and always sympathised with these types of 'baddies' growing up, believing that there was a reason they were broken and they just needed someone to understand. Now I realise it is a lot more complex than that, which only makes it more appealing! The book I am currently reading is 'the gospel of Loki' by Joanne Harris which is all the Norse myths involving Loki, told from his point of view (!?!!!?!!) I will do a review on this when I have finished it, but it is truly amazing- I am terrible at finishing books as I have an incredibly short attention span, but I have been hooked!

I am a costume design student and needed to practice my drawing, so I figured that I may as well draw something that I'm passionate about- hello Hiddleston Loki!

Here are some photos of the process and the end result!

A Beautiful Place- Top Withins

Haworth moor has to be one of my favourite places on Earth. I love it the most in the wind and the rain, it's one of the most romantic places I've ever been, and I'm incredibly lucky to have it right on my doorstep! Of course, a huge portion of its romantic allure comes from the Bronte novel Wuthering Heights (coincidentally one of my favourite books)  so today I bit the bullet and visited the place that allegedly inspired Emily Brontes writing, and it did not disappoint! Here's a few (a lot) of the snaps from my day:
